Did you know that Music Hall already teaches kids, some 5,000 each year? Well, we have learned a thing or two about the needs of students…and instructors. This academy addresses those needs and provides the infrastructure to keep our music scene pumping out new talent. Because music is SUPER IMPORTANT to anybody’s education whether becoming a fan or an eventual pro. Comprehensive music ed for Detroit students. Because they deserve it.
Recording Studio
We know everyone wants to record in the music capital of the world but that shouldn’t mean in an obscure place in the suburbs. This studio is downtown, baby, where the vibe is. It also has Acoustics designed by the deities. Well ok -- by the sound engineers who report to the deities. Recital Hall
A sweet chamber size (200 seats) for everyone from students to Yoyo Ma. For chamber-size shows, weddings, corporate parties and recording, this room with it’s huge panoramic window on Detroit’s cityscape will leave you breathless. The original 3Fifty was the most successful nightclub and special events terrace in Michigan. It provoked more 25-35 year old’s to live in downtown than any initiative ever.
